Light
Thrives in full sun or the brightest position you can provide. Indoors, place near a sunny north or west-facing window. Outdoors, gradually acclimatise to full sun if moving from a protected position.

Watering
Allow the potting mix to dry out completely between waterings. Water more frequently during the warmer growing months and only sparingly through winter.

Feeding
Feed during spring and summer with a cactus and succulent fertiliser or a balanced liquid fertiliser at half strength to encourage healthy growth.

Growing
Plant into a very free-draining cactus and succulent mix. As it matures, the Peruvian Apple Cactus develops impressive upright columns that make a stunning architectural feature indoors or outdoors.

Pet Friendly?
No. While not considered highly toxic, the sharp spines can cause injury to curious pets and children. It's best positioned well out of reach.
