Light
Thrives in bright, indirect light indoors. Outdoors, position in around 50% shade. A little gentle morning sun is beneficial, but avoid prolonged harsh afternoon sun.

Watering
Keep the potting mix lightly moist throughout spring and summer. Reduce watering during winter, allowing the mix to dry slightly between waterings while the plant is resting.

Feeding
Feed with a quality liquid fertiliser or slow-release fertiliser during spring and summer when actively growing to encourage lush new growth and flowering.

Growing
As a rainforest cactus, Epiphyllum naturally grows attached to trees where it enjoys filtered light, good airflow and a free-draining potting mix. Allow the stems to trail naturally or lightly prune older growth to encourage branching and maintain a fuller plant.

Pet Friendly?
Yes. Epiphyllum species are generally considered non-toxic to cats and dogs, although it's always best to discourage pets from chewing on any houseplant.
