Light
Thrives in bright light with several hours of sun each day. Indoors, position in the brightest spot you have to maintain strong, upright growth. Outdoors, full sun to partial shade is ideal, preferably in a protected position.

Watering
Water regularly during the warmer months, allowing the potting mix to dry between waterings. During winter, reduce watering significantly. Established plants are very drought tolerant but appreciate occasional watering year-round.

Feeding
Feed during spring and summer with a cactus and succulent fertiliser or a balanced liquid fertiliser at half strength to encourage healthy new growth.

Growing
Plant into a very free-draining cactus and succulent mix. This species grows upright with multiple branching stems and can eventually reach 2–3 metres tall. It performs best in pots that are protected from prolonged winter rain.

Pet Friendly?
No. Euphorbia species produce a milky white sap that can irritate skin and eyes and is toxic if ingested. Keep well away from children and pets, and wear gloves if pruning or handling damaged stems.
