Good to Know

This is a ready-potted plant, meaning the Blue Barrel Cactus has been planted directly into the Mini Oslo Planter rather than sitting inside a separate nursery pot. We've used our specially blended Cacti & Succulent Mix to provide excellent drainage and aeration, then finished the surface with our custom pebble blend for a polished, ready-to-display look.

The planter features a drainage hole and matching saucer, helping excess water escape after watering. Always empty any collected water from the saucer to prevent the roots from sitting in moisture.

Blue Barrel Cactus is loved for its naturally rounded shape and distinctive blue-green colouring, which becomes particularly striking in bright light. As it matures, it gradually develops a more pronounced barrel form and may eventually produce yellow flowers under suitable conditions. Its golden spines are sharp, so handle with care and position it somewhere away from curious little hands and pets.
