Good to Know

This is a ready-potted plant, meaning the Fishbone Prayer Plant has been planted directly into the Mini Oslo Planter rather than sitting inside a separate nursery pot. We've used our specially blended Tropical Mix to provide a balance of moisture retention, aeration and drainage, giving this little tropical beauty a great start in its new home.

The planter features a drainage hole and matching saucer, allowing excess water to escape after watering. Empty any collected water from the saucer to prevent the roots from sitting in moisture.

Like other members of the prayer plant family, Ctenanthe leaves respond to changes in light throughout the day, often lifting or folding upwards in the evening before relaxing again in the morning. Its distinctive fishbone markings and purple leaf undersides make this natural movement especially beautiful to watch. Consistent moisture, gentle light and a little extra humidity will help keep its foliage looking its best.

• We photograph all of our plants ourselves whenever possible, so the images shown are a true representation of what we have in store.
• As plants are living things, every plant is unique and natural variations in size, shape and fullness should be expected.
• The plant received may not be the exact plant pictured, but a healthy, thriving plant is hand-picked for every order.
