Light
Thrives in bright, indirect light. A little gentle morning sun will help bring out the strongest colour in the foliage, but avoid harsh afternoon sun.

Watering
Keep the central cup (rosette) topped up with fresh water and flush it occasionally to keep it clean. Water the potting mix lightly when it begins to dry, taking care not to leave the roots sitting in soggy soil.

Feeding
Feed regularly year-round with a quality indoor plant fertiliser. A light application helps encourage healthy foliage and strong pup production.

Growing
Neoregelias stay relatively compact and grow in a tidy rosette. After flowering, the mother plant gradually produces offsets, or "pups", which can be left to form a fuller clump or separated to grow into new plants.

Pet Friendly?
Neoregelias are generally considered non-toxic to cats and dogs. Even so, we'd always recommend discouraging pets from chewing on any houseplants.
