Don't worry, it's all part of the plan! During dormancy, it stores energy in tiny underground bulblets, ready to burst back to life when the weather cools again.

Growing to around 15cm across, it's perfect for bright patios, balconies, garden beds or decorative outdoor pots where its dramatic foliage can really shine.

Light
Best grown outdoors in full sun to partial shade. Plenty of natural light encourages healthy growth and abundant flowering.
