• Botanical Name: Ficus elastica 'Tineke'

• Pot Size: 250mm Nursery Pot
• Plant Type: Tropical evergreen tree

Light

Bright, indirect light is ideal. Gentle morning sun is welcome, but avoid harsh afternoon sunlight. Insufficient light can reduce variegation.

Watering

Allow the top few centimetres of soil to dry before watering thoroughly. Ensure good drainage and avoid keeping the soil constantly wet.

Feeding

Feed regularly year-round with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Adjust frequency and strength to suit growth and the fertiliser instructions.

Growing

An upright-growing plant that can develop into an impressive indoor tree. Prefers warmth, well-draining soil and consistent conditions. Rotate occasionally for even growth.

Pet Friendly?

No. Contains a milky sap that can irritate pets and humans if ingested. Keep away from curious pets and children.

Good to Know

New leaves often emerge with beautiful pink or peachy tones before maturing to cream and green. Tineke dislikes sudden environmental changes, so find it a happy spot and avoid moving it unnecessarily.

• We photograph as many of our plants as possible; however, some listings may occasionally use supplier images.

• As plants are living things, every plant is unique and natural variations in size, colour and fullness should be expected.

• The plant you receive may not be the exact one pictured, but we'll always hand-pick a beautiful, healthy plant we'd happily display in our own home.
