The Details

• Botanical Name: Spathiphyllum floribundum
• Common Name: Dwarf Sensation Peace Lily
• Pot Size: 130mm Nursery Pot
• Plant Type: Tropical Evergreen / Flowering Indoor Plant

Light

Prefers bright, indirect light but will tolerate moderate to lower light conditions. Brighter indirect light encourages stronger growth and increases the likelihood of flowering. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the foliage.

Watering

Keep the potting mix lightly moist, allowing the top few centimetres to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess moisture to drain away. Avoid leaving the plant sitting in water or allowing the mix to remain soggy.

Feeding

Feed throughout the year with a diluted, balanced liquid indoor plant fertiliser every 4–6 weeks during warmer months. Reduce frequency during autumn and winter as growth slows.

Growing

A compact, clumping tropical plant with beautifully textured foliage. Prefers warm temperatures, moderate to high humidity and a well-draining growing medium that retains some moisture.

Our Minty Greenhouse Core Indoor Mix is a great choice when repotting. With suitable conditions, mature plants may also produce the classic white peace lily flowers.

Pet Friendly?

No. Peace Lilies contain calcium oxalate crystals and are toxic to cats and dogs if chewed or ingested. Keep out of reach of curious pets.

Good to Know

The standout feature of this variety is its deeply ridged foliage, which creates beautiful texture and dimension. New leaves may emerge a lighter green before gradually deepening in colour as they mature.

Like other Peace Lilies, it may droop noticeably when thirsty, but it's best to water before the plant reaches this stage regularly.

• We photograph as many of our plants as possible; however, some listings may occasionally use supplier images.
• As plants are living things, every plant is unique and natural variations in size, colour and fullness should be expected.
• The plant you receive may not be the exact one pictured, but we'll always hand-pick a beautiful, healthy plant we'd happily display in our own home.
