Light

Bright, indirect light is ideal for maintaining healthy growth and its beautiful foliage colouring. Tolerates moderate light but avoid harsh, direct afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves.

Watering

Allow the top few centimetres of potting mix to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain away. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet, as Syngoniums don't appreciate soggy roots.

Feeding

Feed year-round with a balanced liquid fertiliser to encourage healthy foliage and steady growth. Adjust the frequency to suit its growth rate, feeding less often when growth slows.

Growing

Prefers a loose, well-draining potting mix and enjoys moderate to high humidity. Naturally a climbing plant, it can be trained up a moss pole or allowed to trail as it matures. Its leaves may also change shape as the plant grows.

Pet Friendly?

No. Syngoniums contain calcium oxalate crystals and are toxic to cats, dogs and humans if chewed or ingested. Best kept away from curious pets and little hands.

Good to Know

The Berry Arrowhead Vine's foliage can vary in colour depending on its maturity and growing conditions. Younger leaves may appear brighter green, while others develop warmer bronze or berry-toned highlights.

As your Syngonium matures, you might notice its leaves becoming more divided or lobed. This is completely normal and part of its natural climbing growth habit!
